Casual Disability Support Worker – Shelly Beach, NSW, 2261

Must be available for afternoon shifts

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team in providing individualised assistance to a man living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

About the Role:

  • Afternoon/evening support shifts
  • Kindness, reliability, and good communication are essential.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment
  • Tasks include household chores, helping with meals, and assisting with feeding
  • Community access and companionship
  • Ongoing work with the opportunity to increase hours over time
  • Work within a small, dedicated support team

Who We're Looking For:

  • Kind, patient, and dependable individuals who genuinely enjoy supporting others
  • Experience with disability support, mobility assistance, or degenerative conditions preferred (but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and focused
  • Comfortable assisting with physical tasks and household duties
  • A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to respectful, person-centred care
  • Must hold a valid driver's licence; ability to drive a work vehicle as required
