Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and winning work?

AJ Blunt Painting is looking for a Business Development Manager to take our award-winning painting company to the next level.

We specialise in high-quality painting services across the residential, commercial, strata, and heritage sectors. Our team is known for delivering exceptional results – from large-scale apartment complexes to detailed heritage restorations. Now we're looking for a motivated BDM to uncover new opportunities and help grow our client base across Adelaide.

Your Role

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across multiple sectors.

  • Build relationships with builders, property managers, strata groups, facility managers, and developers.

  • Work closely with our estimating and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover from quote to project delivery.

  • Represent the AJ Blunt Painting brand at industry events and networking functions.

  • Collaborate directly with the Director to align business growth with company goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in a business development or sales role (bonus points for experience in painting, building, construction, or facilities maintenance).

  • A self-starter with the confidence to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.

  • A current driver's licence and own vehicle (car allowance provided).
