About the role
Ready for a hands-on role that keeps you challenged and engaged? If you enjoy working outdoors and like the idea of travelling across our Central QLD assets, this could be the opportunity for you. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical & Instrumentation qualified professional to join us as a Pipeline Operator Technician and in return, you'll benefit from a balanced work-life schedule with either a 2:2 or 8:6 roster (depending on location), and the flexibility of FIFO or DIDO arrangements based on where you live.
Key Responsibilities include
- Responding to incidents and emergencies
- Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment
- Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment
- Patrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of way
- Liaison work with landholders and public authorities
- A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenance
- Inter / intra state travel required at times
About You
The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.
You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:
- Drivers licence (MR Class desirable)
- Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation experience
- High pressure gas experience
- Compressor operation and maintenance (essential)
- Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
