Join Our Team as a Senior Risk, Audit and Compliance Advisor
About the Role:
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact by helping Gallagher Bassett (GB) reduce its risk profile and improve processes and controls? As a Senior Risk, Audit and Compliance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our business units, fostering strong relationships with internal and external clients, and delivering independent, transparent advice to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and statutory requirements.

Your expertise will help identify opportunities for process improvement, strengthen control frameworks, and manage emerging risks. At GB, we are committed to delivering a consistent and well-communicated product to our clients, and your contributions will be key to achieving this goal.

How You'll Make An Impact
Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Assist business units in reducing their risk profile and improving processes and controls.
  • Audit Execution: Complete all mandated audits as per the audit calendar and provide technical advice on audit requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps and deficiencies in controls, recommend business improvement opportunities, and strengthen the control framework.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients, including icare, EY, PwC, KPMG, and Scyne.
  • Compliance Oversight: Provide independent advice on compliance and quality management, ensuring adherence to contractual, legal, and statutory requirements.
  • Management Reporting: Deliver results of testing to Senior Managers and escalate emerging risks and breaches as required.
  • Action Planning: Collaborate with the business to formulate Management Action Plans and address emerging risk management issues.

About You
What We're Looking For:

  • Risk and Compliance Expertise: Strong understanding of risk management, audit processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify control gaps, assess risks, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver clear and transparent advice.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and consistency in audit and compliance activities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant industry-specific or role-related tertiary qualifications are advantageous.
