TARRA Queenscliff is a beachfront dining experience located within our iconic Queenscliff Ferry Terminal. Focused on seasonal, locally sourced, and hand-foraged ingredients, TARRA offers an elevated dining experience where community, good food, and stunning scenery come together on the Bellarine Peninsula. We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to help create menu magic for locals and visitors.
About the Role: Are you a passionate, emerging chef eager to make your mark?
Set in a purpose-built kitchen, you'll craft coastal cusine and other culinary delights for our multiple outlets including TARRA, our onboard and onshore cafés, grab-and-go food, and event catering.
Under the guidance of our Executive Chef, you'll deliver flawless dishes, develop kitchen processes, and help guide the kitchen team.
With the redevelopment of the Sorrento Ferry Terminal underway, you'll also be part of expanding our diverse food and beverage offerings throuought the organisation.
About You
- Demonstrated prior experience as a Commis Chef (or similar), in a high-standard culinary environment
- Certificate Level III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen
- Flexibility to work peak times, including public holidays
- Willingness to work breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- Positive attitude, team spirit, and enthusiasm
- Passionate, creative team player who loves the hospitality industry
