Reporting to the Operations Manager North, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of routine, preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the Burdekin and Whitsunday Region. You will have an appropriate level of engagement across multidiscipline work groups and contractors to ensure works are prioritised and delivered efficiently.
As a Works and Planning Coordinator, you will:
- Create, implement and monitor the scheduling for routine operations, preventative and corrective maintenance works to ensure the most efficient use of resources.
- Undertake planning duties including the creation, updating and recording of notifications, scheduling and assigning of work orders, compilation of work instructions and work packs, recording and review of work orders and asset history.
- Schedule and coordinate all mandatory inspections (Lifting, Fire extinguishers, Test & Tag, Cranes/Hoists, Instrumentation, survey equipment, Forklift and EWP).
- Create and maintain a defect and corrective work list which details required information, risk and priority.
We are seeking a talented individual with proven organisational skills and competence in planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring work programs, resources and associated logistics. You will have the ability to manage a demanding workload while working in a changing environment.
You will also bring:
- Experience working in a planning or scheduling role within a similar environment
- Working knowledge of word processing, excel, database, asset maintenance management software (e.g. SAP and/or Viziya) and project management software (e.g. MS Project)
- Class 'C' driver's license
