About the role
Pragma is seeking a talented Signage Estimator to join our dynamic team on a fulltime basis. You will be responsible for providing accurate and competitive estimates for a wide range of signage projects, ensuring the success of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for signage projects, including materials, labour, installation and subcontractor costs

  • Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive estimates

  • Collaborating with the project management and sales team to ensure estimates align with budgets and client expectations

  • Conducting market research to stay informed of material pricing, and subcontractor rates

  • Providing support throughout the bidding and tendering process, including responding to client inquiries

  • Maintaining and updating our estimating database to improve efficiency and accuracy

  • Assist in the co-ordination of projects by way of procurement and planning

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Signage Estimator or in a related estimating role

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop accurate and competitive estimates

  • Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team

  • Familiarity with construction materials, manufacturing processes and installation costs in the signage industry

  • Proficient in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications
