The Role
This is a unique role with its mix of technical know-how and customer service focus, which supports our business, by providing customers an excellent experience - both before they buy and after they use our products and services. It is all about giving customers an easy, trouble free and enjoyable experience.
We are seeking a customer focused two Retail Assistants to join the team based in Virginia, QLD where we pride ourselves on providing excellent service. As part of our team, you will be responsible for promoting our full range of gases, welding and safety equipment to a diverse range of customers.
What you will enjoy doing
- In this role you will deliver technical support and solutions with outstanding customer experience
- Provide resolution of customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner is part of th is function
- Further you will build strong collaborative relationships with your team as well as other departments
- Identify and communicate local growth opportunities and maintain efficient warehouse processes
- You will also contribute to the overall branch performance
- Additionally, you are in charge to accurate and timely process orders in SAP
- Comply with SPW Safety policies and procedures is required
What makes you great
- You have experience in a retail sales environment
- In addition, you are confidence in presenting our wide product & service range to our customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary
- SAP skills are desirable
- Welding, Fabrication or similar trade knowledge would be highly regarded
- Forklift Licence would be highly regarded
- Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be highly advantageous or willingness to learn is key for anyone without Industrial experience.
