Key Responsibilities
As the Retail Manager, you will:
- Lead and motivate a high-performing retail team to meet sales and customer service targets
- Deliver exceptional in-store experiences for every customer
- Manage merchandising and store presentation to maximise sales opportunities
- Oversee stock management including ordering, inventory control, and wastage reduction
- Coach and develop staff to build product knowledge and service confidence
- Handle staff rosters and labour budgets effectively
- Maintain operational excellence including compliance, reporting, and opening/closing procedures
- Work closely with the managing partner and wider leadership team to execute business strategies
- Use POS and other systems to manage sales, reporting, and performance tracking
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Previous retail or pharmacy management experience (essential)
- Strong team leadership and staff development skills
- A hands-on approach with a drive for results
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational skills and a high attention to detail
- Experience with staff rostering and working to budget
- Confidence using computer systems and retail software
- A values-driven mindset and a genuine passion for community care
