This role will assist the Arborist/Browse Coordinator in delivering excellence in tree care, assessment and risk management. A primary function is to assist in safe tree work on site. The roles development opportunities include on the job training of tree assessment and mentoring by the Arborist/Browse Coordinator and arboriculture contractors.

Selection Criteria

  • A strong interest and experience in Arboriculture/Horticulture.
  • Demonstrated physical capacity to carry out all elements of the role.
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent.
  • Qualified support climber for arborist.
  • Experience in Chainsaw operator and tree felling.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience in safe work practices

You will report directly to the Arborist/Browse coordinator and work with other members of the Horticulture team delivery tree maintenance and horticultural works across the property.

We are seeking motivated, results-oriented applicants that are team focused. A strong work ethic, time and teamwork skills are essential to this role where you will be working autonomously and as part of a team.  You will work with the team to deliver high standards of Arboriculture/Horticulture maintenance and project delivery.
