CLS is a commercial laundry plant located in Cannonvale, servicing the Whitsunday Islands and mainland hotels. We are seeking motivated workers for our morning and afternoon crews

Role 1: Production Operator

As a Production Operator your main focus will be efficient processing of linen through the production lines to the highest standard of quality control, at a fast pace. This involves feeding linen through machinery and quality checking at the receiving end.

Role 2: Production Operator/Backup Forklift Drivers

As a Production Operator, your primary role will be efficiently processing linen through our production lines, ensuring high-quality output at a fast pace. You'll also receive training as a relief forklift driver, supporting the team as needed.

Working Hours & Availability

*MUST* be available 5 days a week for EITHER AM or PM (potentially on a rotating roster) and Saturdays during busy periods especially around the holiday season, school holidays and public holidays etc.

Shift Times

AM SHIFTS (Mon-Fri)    6AM-12PMor 2PM

PM SHIFTS (Mon-Fri)    12PM 6PM/8PMor 2PM-6PM/8PM

SATURDAY SHIFT AM-12/2PM

Please note - all shift finishing times can vary depending on workload

Requirements

Successful applicants must meet the below criteria:

• Applicants with a forklift licence will be prioritised at this point in time.
• Physically fit - able to do work at a fast pace, light to medium lifting, repetitive movements and standing for long periods
• Comfortable working in a hot environment
• Some Saturdays will be required during busy periods
• Dependable and committed
• Able to work positively within a team environment at a productive pace
• Reliable transport
• Available Mon-Fri for morning or afternoon shift + Saturdays
• Have no upcoming leave booked over December & January

Pay rates

Adult Casual & Penalty Rates (includes loading)

Before 6am pay rate $43.07

Normal Hourly pay rate $30.76

Overtime rate (after 7.6 hrs) $43.07

After 6pm pay rate $43.07

Saturdays (first 3 hours) $43.07

Saturdays(after 3 hours) and Sundays $55.37

Public Holidays $67.68
