About us
Edmund Rice Education Australia Victorian Schools Limited (EREA VSL) is responsible for the governance of six Victorian schools, and their associated campuses that enrol over 10,000 students.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, we are looking for a forward thinking Finance Manager to join our team. The successful incumbent will be integral to ensuring effective financial performance for EREA VSL and its Colleges/Schools. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reporting and operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
This is a great opportunity to support the CFO in the stewardship of financial performance, budgeting, reporting, compliance that contributes to the effective use of resources to enhance educational outcomes.

You will be employed on a fulltime, ongoing basis..
The remuneration for the role is within the range of $125,000 to $135,000, plus leave loading and superannuation, depending on skills, education and experience.
You will need
· Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Accounting, Commerce or relevant discipline
· Professional designation of Certified Practicing Accounting (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA), with ongoing professional learning to maintain designation.
· Minimum Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
· Minimum 5 years' experience is a similar role.
· Demonstrated applied knowledge or experience across all facets of a high functioning Finance Team, including payroll, debtors, creditors, audits, budgets and taxation.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
· Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and provide a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months)
