Join CPL as a Direct Support Worker – Flexible Opportunities Available

At CPL – Choice, Passion, Life – we're looking for caring and adaptable people to join our team of Direct Support Workers. Whether it's helping someone in their daily routine, providing companionship, or supporting them out in the community, you'll play an important role in creating an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone belongs.

What You'll Do

Your work will be varied and rewarding, with responsibilities that may include:

  • Personal Care – Assisting with showering, dressing, and toileting with dignity and respect.
  • Medication Support – Helping clients stay on track with their health needs.
  • Mobility Assistance – Using hoists and slide sheets to keep clients safe and comfortable.
  • Household Help – Meal prep, laundry, and light cleaning.
  • Community Support – Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, or social activities.

Essentials You'll Need

  • Open driver's licence and access to a vehicle (be willing to drive to Ballina for 2-4hr shifts)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate (free and easy to complete).
  • A smartphone with up-to-date capability.
