We are a highly successful dental laboratory based in Woollahra and are actively seeking a full time dental ceramist to join our dynamic team on a full-time capacity. This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a ceramist in a fully private practice, set in a stunning building with outstanding equipment. We have been established since 2009 and have primarily been servicing dental specialists for their patient's restorative needs. You will enjoy the opportunity to work directly with prosthodontists and see the work you do appreciated by the patients who benefit from it.
The successful candidate will be a dental ceramist with at least 5 years' experience. You will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of ceramics and have a solid employment history showing longevity.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Creating crowns, bridgework and veneers that match the patient's needs
- Completing all phases of crown and bridge fabrication
- Using ceramics and resins to create prosthetic teeth or coverings
- Verifying patient's prostheses match to colour of natural teeth
- Clinical photography showcasing before and after cases
Education and experience
- Diploma of Dental Technology or equivalent
- Experience as a qualified dental technician is required
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience as a ceramist
- Have CAD CAM expertise (3shape)
