About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Care Origin as a fulltime Occupational Therapist in our Melbourne, Victoria office. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life. Your work will involve assessing clients, developing customised therapy plans, and delivering treatment to support them.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, goals, and functional abilities
  2. Develop and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
  3. Provide therapy sessions to help clients improve their daily living.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective care for clients
  5. Document client progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with professional standards
  6. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest occupational therapy practices and techniques

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA Registration.

  2. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  4. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  5. Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centred care
