About Us

At MedWest Medical Dispensary, we're not your typical pharmacy. We specialise exclusively in medicinal cannabis and harm reduction medicines including vapes, working closely with prescribers, patients, and regulators to deliver quality care, education, and support.

The Role

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist to become part of our close-knit team. This role goes beyond dispensing – you'll be an educator, advisor, and advocate for patients navigating medicinal cannabis therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely dispense medicinal cannabis products in line with TGA and state regulations
• Provide counselling and education to patients on safe use, dosing, and interactions
• Support prescribers and healthcare professionals with up-to-date clinical information
• Maintain strict compliance with Schedule 8 & 4 regulations, QCPP, and pharmacy standards
• Assist in inventory management, quality assurance, and reporting requirements
• Contribute to patient-centred initiatives, wellness programs, and community engagement

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist (unrestricted)
• Knowledge of or strong interest in medicinal cannabis, pain management, and integrative health
• Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within regulatory frameworks
• Open-minded, compassionate, and excited to be part of an innovative healthcare model
