As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting maintenance work across our packaging and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance: carry out preventative and corrective maintenance as required
• Inventory Management: Maintain worksheets and usage of materials
• Operational Efficiency: support with continuous improvement processes and ideas to help improve efficiency
• Safety & Compliance: Champion a safety-first culture and ensure full compliance with operational safety, food safety and workplace regulations.

What You'll Bring

• Qualification as a mechanical fitter or relevant trade with proven post-trade experience
• Forklift licence and elevated work platforms (or prepared to gain through the company)
• Experience working with a variety of machining operations eg. Lathe, milling, drilling
• Ability to interpret drawings and to use machine manuals to assist with maintenance and fault finding

Considered favourably

• Experience in a similar food and beverage facility, understanding GMP
• Stainless steel MIG, TIG and Stick welding on sheet, RHS and various profiles
• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulic systems etc.
• Broad range of fitting skills related to packaging and materials handling equipment
• Dogman's ticket
