Role purposeAs a Commercial Insights Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting strategic and commercial decision-making across the business. Reporting to a Senior Commercial Insights Analyst, you will contribute to the identification and delivery of strong commercial outcomes for the organisation through the provision of compelling insights and recommendations. Responsibilities include working extensively with various internal teams, leveraging data and research to provide in-depth analysis and strategic advice, and creating, updating and maintaining data visualisation platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in commercial analysis who is looking to deepen their expertise and broaden their impact within a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Key Accountabilities 

Commercial Analysis and support 

  • Assist in the planning and execution of commercial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to financial modelling and risk assessments to inform capital and asset planning.
  • Support the development of business cases and commercial recommendations.

Data & Insights    

  • Work with data from multiple sources to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Create, maintain and update data visualisation dashboards to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all outputs.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Development, Leasing, Marketing, and Property Management to understand business needs and deliver insights.
  • Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Support compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

Experience & Capabilities

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE (what you have done)    

  • 2+ years in a commercial analysis or business support role.
  • Exposure to research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE (what you need to know)    

  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques.
  • Understanding of commercial strategy and financial principles.
  • Sound knowledge of current events, trends and economics

CAPABILITIES (what you can do)

  • Ability to utilise market research and data analysis techniques
  • Working knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Ability to communicate and present well to various audiences 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects within deadlines 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and ability to incorporate this into ways of working
