The Role

We're seeking an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our workshop and field service team. You'll be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing pumping equipment, pipework, and mechanical components, ensuring all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and test pumps and equipment
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing of equipment
  • Machine relevant parts and components in our Gunnedah workshop
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve complex issues
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Cert III Engineering(Mechanical) desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of industrial lathes, machinery and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals highly regarded
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift and MR Licenses highly desirable
  • Confined Spaces, Working at Heights and Dogging & Rigging tickets also desirable
  • Lathe experience highly regarded
