We're continuing to grow and are looking for a hands-on Compound Supervisor to join our friendly team at our Silverwater site

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our compounding area. You'll make sure our production lines run efficiently, safely, and consistently produce quality material.

This is a great opportunity for someone with compounding or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment and takes pride in getting the best results from their crew.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising compound line operations and ensuring production targets are met
  • Coordinating scheduled jobs and minimising downtime between changeovers
  • Monitoring raw material levels and working with the team to maintain supply
  • Keeping accurate production and quality records
  • Supporting equipment maintenance and ensuring machines run at peak efficiency
  • Promoting a safe, clean and organised work environment
  • Working closely with the Production and Quality teams to meet daily goals

About You

You're a reliable, motivated team leader with a strong mechanical mindset and a commitment to quality and safety. You'll also bring:

  • Previous experience in plastics compounding environment
  • Forklift licence (required)
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead by example and work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Friday: 6:00 am to 12:00 pm

  • PVC Compounding: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (Preferred)
