The Team:

The North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale is an 18 bed District Hospital in the Northeast of Tasmania. In addition to providing inpatient and emergency presentation services, the hospital provides community-based services which includes Home Help and Community Nursing.  The Home Help Coordinator oversees the provision of domestic assistance to clients in their home. This allows them to remain living in their homes with some independence. This position reports to the NESMH Director of Nursing.

The Role:

The Home Help Coordinator position manages the team of Home Help Carers. This service provides domestic assistance to clients in their homes. The Coordinator is required to oversee the service using the Aged Care Standards and the CHSP/HACC requirements. The requirements for this position includes:

• Manage the home care services team.
• Coordinate and oversee the home help services including the HACC/CHSP reporting processes.
• Undertake client reviews on at least an annual basis.

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing 8 January 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
