The Position

.

We are seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to join our Melton depot, responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of passengers. This role specifically supports a Student with Disabilities school run, ensuring students travel to and from school safely and comfortably.

You will play an important part in helping students access education, build independence, and start and finish their school day with a friendly, familiar face.

The boxes you'll tick

Bus driving isn't your average job. And we're not looking for just anyone. We are people, people, with a customer-first attitude, and therefore are looking for people with:

a current heavy vehicle licence (valid MR/HR Licence is required for this role)

Hold or are willing to apply for a Drivers Accreditation Certificate.

hold a current working with children check or have applied for one.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to support students with disabilities in a caring and respectful manner

A strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness

The ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team
