To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic, motivated and focused on developing your career.  Reporting to the Health and Fitness Manager you will be supported by a team of professionals who will provide coaching and mentoring with the aim of assisting you in reaching your Personal Training career goals.

Gym floor shifts vary across a 7-day roster providing you with the flexibility to:

  • Develop your personal training and coaching skills;
  • Work a flexible schedule to ensure you have work/life balance;
  • peak periods that aim to maximise your earning potential occur from 5.30am to 8.30pm so we do request your flexibility around these hours;

Essential Criteria

  • Hold Certificate III & Certificate IV in Fitness;
  • Current Senior First Aid & CPR certificate;
  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to attain)
  • Computer literate;
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal skills;
  • Professional work ethic & entrepreneurial spirit; and

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Helping our members get results and inducted through our 'Next Step' Programme
  • Having a high quality customer service focussed approach to build strong relationships
  • Running gym floor classes such as HIIT & 'Teambeats'
  • Maintaining the gym equipment and cleanliness
  • Growing your personal training clients
  • Opening/Closing the gym floor areas

Desirable

  • A current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
