The Role
The Assembler role will see you contribute to the end-stages manufacturing process by assembling a range of performance transmission components across a range of carefully designed and engineered products. Your ability to learn, retain and undertake detailed technical engineering component order-of-assembly tasks, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail will set you up for success in this fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded, industry leading team.
This key role will suit applicants with experience working on similar technical assembly products, who have a genuine passion for the high-performance automotive industry. In return you will be provided with ongoing technical training and support with opportunities to broaden your skills across a range of other work areas opportunities in a fully equipped, clean, safe and friendly factory team environment.
Duties
- Undertake technical component Assembler duties across a range of Albins Performance products
- Undertake additional general factory and trade assistant duties in Workshop and Stores areas
- Ensure quality control and order specification standards are met
- Use all factory plant, tools and workshop equipment in a safe, tidy and responsible manner
- Ensure efficient work schedule, take inventory of materials and equipment
- Contribute to the existing positive, friendly, supportive, safe and efficient team culture
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude including previous experience in a similar and relevant technical assembly role
- Demonstrated ability to learn, retain and undertake technical assembly across a broad range of products
- Demonstrated reliability and ability to undertake repetitive technical production work safely
- Must be available to work full time Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm (40hr work week paid as 38hrs ordinary, plus 2hrs accrued for monthly RDO)

Additional Essential Requirements
The successful applicant must have unlimited Australian working rights, have a driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle. The successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily pass a preemployment musculoskeletal assessment including drug screen, criminal history check and two relevant reference checks ahead of commencement in the position.
