6am-3:30pm

3:15pm-10pm (inactive sleepover 10pm-6am)

About the Role:

Support worker example/ change base on role

We are seeking experienced support workers to work with our client based in Calamvale. We are looking for people who have experience with:

  • Brain Injuries: Understanding and catering to the unique needs of individuals with brain injuries.
  • Epilepsy: Address the specific challenges associated with epilepsy.
  • Behaviors of Concern: Navigate and manage challenging behaviors with skill and compassion.
  • Performing Personal Cares & Emotional Support: Deliver compassionate care while respecting individual dignity.
  • Managing medication and assisting clients with emotional health support.

The candidate will ideally be available across a 7 day roster. Our client requires complex care and therefore, we are only taking support workers with a minimum of 1-2 years experience for this role. Your main duties will involve:

  • Assistance with ADL's (personal care, meal preparation etc)
  • Domestic cleaning
  • Accessing the community
  • Capacity Building activities

Must have or willing to obtain:

  • NDIS worker screening card & working with children check
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module
  • Individual Support Cert or equivalent experience
  • Valid Driver's License & reliable insured vehicle
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate
