About the role
Rutherford Playtime Preschool is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nominated Supervisor to join our passionate team. As the Nominated Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our high-quality early childhood education and care service in Rutherford, NSW. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the learning experiences of our young children.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring the service operates in compliance with the National Quality Framework and all relevant legislation and regulations
- Providing strong educational leadership and supporting staff in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate programs
- Maintaining positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
- Overseeing the management of staffing, rosters, and professional development
- Implementing effective policies, procedures, and quality improvement strategies
- Fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Demonstrated experience as a Nominated Supervisor or in a senior leadership role within an early childhood setting
- Thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework, and other relevant regulations
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
