We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Detailer/Delivery Driver who will be responsible for delivering, maintaining and basic servicing of access hire equipment. This role requires excellent customer interaction skills, the ability to ensure that all equipment is delivered and maintained in optimal condition. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a mix of hands-on work and customer service, contributing to the smooth operation of our service offerings.

This role is Full time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery & Installation:

Safely transport machines to customer sites, ensuring proper delivery, setup, and installation. Provide training or demonstrations to customers as needed.

Machine Maintenance:

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on machines, ensuring they are kept in optimal condition for performance and customer satisfaction.

Machine Servicing:

Perform regular basic servicing (training will be given) at customer locations to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. (Mainly JLG scissor lifts and light towers).

Customer Interaction:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers during visits, providing excellent customer service, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of service visits, machine performance, and customer feedback. Report any recurring issues to the technical team for further investigation.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when operating machines, driving, and conducting services, ensuring safe working practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - able to drive with a trailer towed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to drive and operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.

Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred):

  • EWP Yellow Card (If successful application does not hold a yellow card, EWP yellow card course will be provided)
  • Experience with Scissor Lifts
  • Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems.

Work Environment:

This position requires working in a variety of settings, including customer homes or businesses, warehouses, and on the road. You will be expected to adhere to all company and safety protocols while representing the company professionally.
