About the role

We're seeking a Facilities Officer to contribute to our business success by coordinating and delivering maintenance, compliance, and administration activities across our multi-site environment.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Monitor and action facilities requests through our helpdesk systems, ensuring timely and courteous responses
• Organise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by prioritizing tasks and coordinating external contractors
• Support contractor management by monitoring works in progress and managing the Authority to Access process
• Assist with safety and security inspections to maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and HSE
• Support the management of building security systems, emergency planning, and incident response procedures

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:

• Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and a focus on compliance
• Excellent communication skills and an approachable disposition to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office suite
• Valid Queensland Driver's License
