Support families to thrive at Anglicare WA As Senior Parent Coordinator, you'll lead a passionate team empowering parents and children navigating separation. Drive meaningful change through assessment, counselling, guidance, and referral—helping families move from surviving to thriving. Bring trauma-informed, child-focused support while growing relationships with partners and delivering innovative, client-centred services. Shape positive outcomes, foster safe environments, and champion continuous improvement for families across WA.
Join us in Gosnells for this permanent, part-time role (22.5 hours per week). The working hours will be Monday 12.30pm - 8.30pm, Wednesday & Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Counselling, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment, and risk assessment of families, with a focus on trauma-informed, culturally safe, and child-inclusive practice.
- Proven ability to facilitate group programs and provide brief counselling to separated parents and their children.
- Knowledge of family systems, child development, family and domestic violence issues, and the impact of separation on families.
- Strong ethical and professional approach aligned with Anglicare WA's values, including commitment to child safety and culturally intelligent practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills to work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external partners.
This role requires a current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance. A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us. We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we review any disclosures on an individual basis, focusing on relevance to the role. The successful candidate must also possess a current WA Working with Children Check and a WA Drivers Licence.

- A salary from $108,600 (pro-rata) per annum + 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
- Additional 3 days leave per year over festive period
