About the Role

We are seeking reliable and detail-focused cleaners to join our growing team in both the Newcastle and Maitland areas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and hygienic environments in participant homes and other support settings, ensuring spaces are comfortable and tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and rubbish removal.
• Maintain hygiene standards in line with NDIS requirements and participant care needs.
• Adapt cleaning methods to suit the environment and respect participant preferences.
• Handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
• Use cleaning products safely and in accordance with WHS guidelines.

Essential Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and work respectfully with people of all abilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.

Desirable

• Previous cleaning experience (particularly in disability, aged care, or health settings).
• Understanding of infection control and safe cleaning practices.
