Community Engagement and Programs Officer

The Community Engagement and Program Officer is responsible for assisting the development and promotion of Four Winds programs and services throughout Queensland. These include programs specifically designed to target unsociable, negative and harmful behaviors along with programs and services tailored to suit the needs of disabled clients, hard to reach, indigenous and multicultural communities.
The Community Engagement and Program Officer plays a crucial role in promoting community and education programs to communities throughout Queensland. Positions are casual or part-time and an ideal candidates will have an interest in supporting community and helping others, whilst demonstrating a positive attitude and personality. Training will be provided and the roles would suit those looking to enter the community sector, recent school leavers, or individuals who are looking for casual or part-time employment. No experience is necessary as these are entry level roles.
Position objectives:
Develop new program opportunities by engaging with local community members and/or groups.
Promote programs and services throughout community
Support the delivery of programs and services
Required skills and experience:
Basic written and verbal communication skills
An interest in community related activities
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft office.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $28.97 – $59.06 per hour
