We are advertising on behalf of our client Kenviro Pty Ltd.

Kenviro specialises in Environmental Containment using HDPE and other geomembrane liner systems, servicing clients in the Mining and Resources, Agriculture, Waste Management, and Water sectors.

The Environmental Manager plays a key role in overseeing the development, implementation, and compliance of Kenviro's operations in delivering safe and sustainable environmental containment solutions.

The role of Environmental Manager is critical to ensuring our projects align with project specifications and environmental legislation, minimise ecological impact, and deliver practical containment solutions for our diverse client base across remote and regional WA.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage all QA-QC to ensure compliance with Project & Environmental Regulations.


• Establish and oversee operational and administrative procedures.


• Oversee assessments and audits for project planning and post-installation monitoring, including requirements for Electronic Leak Integrity Surveys to comply with specific regulatory guidelines.


• Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal environmental legislation and regulations.


• Develop and maintain Management Plans.


• Reporting in line with EPA requirements.


• Monitoring work progress, performance and adjusting processes to keep goals on track.


• Liaise with clients to address specific environmental concerns and deliver practical, compliant solutions.


• Support and input on all tender submissions.


• Implement best practices for waste minimisation and resource management.


• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics and report findings to senior management.


• Provide training and guidance to staff.


• Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions as needed. Liaise with clients and local authorities to ensure thorough corrective actions and compliance.

Key Qualifications & Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.


• Minimum 2 years' experience in environmental management, ideally within environmental containment.


• Experience working in mining, agriculture, waste, or water sectors is highly advantageous.


• Demonstrated ability to manage environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies.


• Familiarity with HDPE and other geomembrane liner materials, applications, and installation processes a distinct advantage.


• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Competency in Excel software and data analysis.
