The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our back-of-house team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, assisting chefs, and ensuring smooth operations during busy service periods.

Wednesday to Sunday are the operating days

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation
• Wash, clean, and store kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Keep all kitchen areas clean, organised, and hygienic
• Dispose of rubbish and maintain correct waste management procedures
• Support the kitchen team during busy service times
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in hospitality preferred, but not essential
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive and reliable attitude
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $38.78 per hour
