Social Media Manager

What You'll Do

As our Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. You'll manage all aspects of our social media presence, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management - film, schedule, and maintain content across all social media platforms. Keep everything up-to-date, including current promotions and timetables.
  • Community Engagement - build a strong connection with our community by interacting with members, responding to comments, and driving engagement.
  • Analytics & Reporting - track the performance of social media campaigns and provide weekly updates to the Club General Manager.
  • Marketing Support - promote new campaigns and promotions across all departments. Collaborate with the Club General Manager and Head of Departments to ensure social media content aligns with business goals.
  • Customer Service Excellence - provide a high level of customer service to all members and prospects. Address feedback and queries and build strong rapport within the community.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
  • Strong writing, video editing, and content creation skills.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools. and Digital Stack proficiency is highly regarded.
  • Understanding of paid social media campaigns.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for member engagement and building positive relationships.
  • Extremely organised with the proven experience hitting deadlines.
  • Available 15 hours per week, on 3 set week days (days negotiable).

Receptionist/Retail Assistant

We're on the lookout for a friendly, energetic, and reliable casual Receptionist/Retail Assistant to be the face of World Gym Bibra Lake If you have a passion for fitness, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence - be the first point of contact for our members and guest. Greet everyone with a smile, answer queries, and provide exceptional customer service. Our members are our family.
  • Reception Duties - answer phones, manage bookings, handle member enquiries, and assist Membership Consultant with membership sign-ups.
  • Retail Sales - drive retail sales in our Pro Shop and Barbell Cafe by promoting and selling apparel, supplements, and accessories. Ensure stock is well-maintained and organised. Supplement knowledge is a big plus
  • Facility Management - ensure the front desk, gym floor, and Recovery Suites are clean, welcoming, and well-organised.
  • Support Team - work alongside a vibrant team to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for our members.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication skills - you'll be the face of the gym, so being approachable and friendly is key.
  • Organised and detail-oriented - ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Retail experience (preferred) - experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
  • Passion for fitness - a keen interest in the fitness industry is a bonus.
  • Flexible availability to work casual shifts approximately 25 hours per week, including weekends and evenings between our staffed hours 5am-9:30pm weekdays and 7am-6pm weekends.
  • Current CPR + First Aid certification.
