Established in 1979 and headquartered in Stapylton, Queensland, Multinail has over four decades of experience in delivering integrated solutions to licensed timber fabricators across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Our Stamping Division is primarily involved in the supply of stamped steel products, using high-speed presses ranging from 15 tonne to 250 tonne capacity, to the pre-fabricated building industry.

About the Position

Based at our Stapylton production facility on the Gold Coast, we are seeking an experienced Metal Stamping Toolmakers / First Class Machinists
. This role will focus on maintaining existing progression tooling, performing refurbishments and improvements, and assisting in the manufacture of new tools, all to ensure the delivery of high-quality products in line with our standards.

Key Selection Criteria

This position is suited to an experienced Toolmaker / First Class Machinist who holds the following skills:

Prerequisite:

• Minimum 5 years trade certified Toolmaker, OR;
• If not qualified in Toolmaking other qualified trades such as fitting or machining would be considered. With a willingness to learn and diversify your skills.

Experience in the following areas is essential:

• Thorough knowledge of metal press tooling.
• Good understanding of multi-stage progression tooling and press setting procedures.
• A good level of communication skills (verbal and written).
• CNC programming an advantage.
• Forklift license an advantage.
