IGA EAST MAITLAND are looking for Staff with strong work ethic and great Customer Service skills to be a part of our team.To be Successful, you will need to:

  • Be Available 7am - 8pm weekdays and Most Weekends

  • Work well as part of a team and show exceptional customer service

  • Listen to instructions and carry out work as required

  • Work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to use of Point-of-Sale System .

  • 1 Year Cash handling and Point of sale experience in Retail Environment.

Some Duties and Responsibilities of the Role are:

  • Stock Filling Duties
  • Serving Customers on Checkouts including sale of Liquor Products (RSA needed)
  • Balancing Tills at the End of the Shift
  • Merchandising/Display Relays
  • Check Stock Codes & Dates
  • Comply with Store Customer Service Standards
  • Operate the POS Register According to Store Policy
  • Adhere to Security Procedures and Safe Work Practices
  • Carry Out Housekeeping Procedures / Keep store presentable and clean.
