Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive software testing with a focus on QA and web-based applications, ensuring best practices in testing are applied across all phases of the SDLC and STLC.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies, strategies, test plans, scenarios, and cases, including traceability matrices, to verify and validate applications.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the QA team to deliver high-quality testing services and provide technical guidance.
- Manage defect tracking and bug reporting using industry-standard tools; actively participate in bug triage meetings and collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
- Perform various types of testing including functional, non-functional, GUI, regression, re-testing, and system testing.
- Design test cases using techniques such as Boundary Value Analysis (BVA), Equivalence Class Partitioning (ECP), and experience-based testing.
- Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly testing status reports to stakeholders.
- Conduct QA reviews, peer reviews, and technical reviews; address and incorporate feedback from Business Analysts (BA).
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on testing progress during daily calls.
- Identify risks early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test data preparation, root cause analysis, and re-estimation activities.
- Identify regression test cases and work towards automation, including proof-of-concept (POC) reporting.
- Provide career development guidance to team members, including setting goals and offering coaching support.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' professional experience in system analysis, QA, and testing.
- Strong expertise in search analytics, virtual agent analytics, and content management.
- Proven knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
