The Role
Due to continued growth and expansion of our Queensland operations, we are looking for experienced NDD Operators and Industrial Operators to join our growing team based in Stapylton, Queensland.
Successful candidates will join a tightknit local team and will be members of the broader QEST NDD and Industrial Operations team located in Victoria and South Australia.
Working between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this position will work on a variety of construction and site-based projects.
The role of an Operator will suit an individual who is hard working and enjoys working outdoors, this role is around 20% driving and 80% on the tools.
Role requirements:

Driving HR Truck with Hydro excavation unit
-
Non-destructive digging with high pressure water to safely locate underground services

Drain cleaning
-
Work independently and in line with all safety guidelines to highest possible efficiencies.

Liaise and assist clients on site as required ensuring they receive a first-class service from the QEST team.

Complete relevant paperwork for each job.

Adhere to all Company and legislative WHS policies and procedures.

Ability to work extended hours if required.
About You
To be successful in this role, candidates will have:
-
Ideally at least 2 years relevant experience working in a similar role.

White Card.
-
Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence.
-
Strong mechanical aptitude.
-
Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW) - an advantage.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
-
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and pass any/all random drug and alcohol tests.
