The Korean Cultural Centre AU is recruiting talented and capable individuals who will lead the promotion of Korean culture and the activation of cultural exchange between Korea and Australia. Below are the details of the recruitment.
1. Job Details
- Number of Positions: 2
- Position Type: Full-time (Permanent)
- Main Responsibilities: Organising various cultural events in areas such as Performances, K-Food, K-pop, Traditional Arts, Films, Literature, etc (TBD)
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in both Korean and English.
- Must have basic computer skills (document writing in Korean and English). It's a plus if you have experience in Graphic Design works.
- Must not have disqualifications under Article 33 of the State Public Officials Act of the Republic of Korea (RoK).
- Must not have disqualifications under Article 76 of the Military Service Act of the RoK.
- Must be legally eligible to stay and work in Australia (excluding Working Holiday Visa holders).
- If you have more than 1 nationality, you must have selected nationality within the legally required period as per Nationality Act of the RoK.
- If subject to Immigration Act of the RoK (Articles 4 and 6), you must complete overseas immigration registration before the commencement of employment.
Monthly Wage: AUD 4,500.00
Additional payments include superannuation, bonuses, performance incentives, welfare benefits, and a small birthday allowance.
- Basic Working Hours: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).
- Contract Type: Temporary contract for 1 year, and then conversion to permanent contract (with consent from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of the RoK).
- Probation Period: 3 months from the start date.
2. Selection Process
First Round: Document Screening (Results will be announced on November 26, 2025)
Evaluation Criteria: Completeness of self-introduction, work experience in relevant fields, qualifications in related fields, language proficiency, IT certifications, etc.
- If there are tied scores, all tied candidates will pass the document screening and be given an opportunity for the interview.
Second Round: Interview (For those who pass the document screening, scheduled for November 28, 2025)
Evaluation Criteria: Professionalism, specialized knowledge and application ability, communication skills, character and integrity, creativity/initiative, development potential, language skills, etc.
- If there are tied scores, additional interviews will be conducted among the tied candidates.
- Final candidates will undergo a criminal background and security check from Australian & Korean authorities before hiring (employment may be canceled based on the result).

- If no suitable candidates are found, the recruitment may be canceled.
- Additional documentation may be requested for verification after the final selection.
- The selection process may be subject to changes based on circumstances.
- If the selected candidate refuses to accept the offer, has disqualifications, or any other issues arise, a backup candidate may be hired within 3 months from the employment start date.
