Melbourne's premier fruit and veg home delivery service is currently seeking a delivery driver/packer to join our dynamic team in Dandenong South.  Experience with deliveries and fruit and veg will be looked upon favorably but not essential.

We are wanting to put on a full time employee and a casual with an immediate start.

As a driver/packer within our company, you will be required to pack items into our customers orders, and deliver direct to their homes, office or childcare centers daily, driving one of our brand new 1 tonne Mercedes vans. Full training provided.

Job description

To be successful you must be:

  • Highly motivated and a result driven individual with outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • A fast learner with a great attitude
  • Hardworking with an excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable and honest
  • Willing to work within a team environment and able to work alone.
  • Clean driving record the last 5 years.
  • Great knowledge of Melbourne and driving a vehicle. A driving test will be part of the interview and we only encourage confident, safe drivers to apply.
  • Willing to start work from 5am if need be (most days start 6-7am)
  • Available to work weekends. Please do not apply if you can't work Sunday
  • Role is for shifts , Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
  • Must have own transport and a full clean drivers license.
  • Able to drive as a professional driver, 8 hours or more a day
  • Able to stand and pack orders in a fast paced environment for 8 hours.

What skills we require:

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Highly organised and possess great time management skills
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Fruit & Vegetable industry – either as a storeman, picker and packer or chef or delivery driver
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Be physically fit
  • great communication
