Our Fin serviced client is looking for a talented Solution Architect to join our team, serving as the primary driver of our architectural strategy across traditional applications, LLMs, and AI.

In this role you'll be the last line of defence, making sure all applications are secure by design.

  • Understand the Landscape: Gain a full view of our tech and app ecosystem and assess it for security risks.
  • Lead Security Efforts: Provide hands-on cybersecurity guidance in Agile teams across Digital.
  • Embed Best Practice: Build and integrate strong security processes into the SDLC for all teams.
  • Design Secure Architectures: Plan and develop robust, scalable security patterns for projects.
  • Manage Vulnerabilities: Proactively find, prioritise, and remediate issues across code and infrastructure.
  • Automate Security: Integrate SAST, DAST, and other checks into CI/CD pipelines for early detection.
  • Secure AI Systems: Address unique risks in LLMs and Gen AI such as prompt injection and data poisoning.
  • Run Assessments: Lead regular scans, risk analyses, and security reviews; share findings with product teams.
  • Educate Teams: Research standards and protocols, then coach developers on secure practices.
  • Align with Policy: Work with Cyber Security and the business to apply policies, log risks, and maintain compliance.
  • Respond to Incidents: Act fast on threats, manage escalations, and deliver post-incident reports.
  • Partner with Vendors: Help select and implement security tools and solutions.
  • Promote Awareness: Drive security training and education programs for developers and digital teams.

*About YOU You're a results-driven security professional with strong expertise in both application and cloud security*. You have:

  • Experience: Proven track record as an Application Security Engineer or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of web and cloud vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and hands-on experience with security testing tools and methodologies.
  • Cloud Security: Strong experience with GCP, including IAM, network security, and data protection.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and proactive in identifying and mitigating complex security threats.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and collaborate with engineering teams across the organization.
