Muscatech delivers a broad range of onsite and remote IT services across Australia. We are currently seeking skilled professionals to support an upcoming Windows 11 deployment initiative.

The Position
We are looking for a Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to join our team on a casual basis, to contribute to several upcoming contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and deploying new Windows devices, reimaging existing Windows 10 assets, and providing end-user support to ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect existing computers from staff and issue re-imaged devices.
  • Gather hardware hashes from existing or replacement devices, upload them into Autopilot, and assign assets to end users.
  • Reimage computers to Windows 11.
  • Assist with deploying Windows 11 assets to end users and provide initial support to help them get started.
  • Maintain and update asset data and deployment tracking spreadsheets.
  • Provide general IT support across a wide range of hardware, devices, and applications.

Education & Other Requirements

  • Diploma of Information Technology, or
  • Advanced Diploma of Computer Systems Engineering, or
  • Equivalent relevant experience.
  • Recent Police Check (mandatory).
  • Current full driver's license and own vehicle.

General Technical Skills

  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Proficiency with endpoint hardware (desktops, notebooks, thin clients, tablets, docking stations, AIOs, monitors, etc.).
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and other common business applications.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra ID, Intune, and Autopilot (preferred).

Other Functions

  • Prioritise and manage new support requests and existing work orders.
  • Document issues and solutions during and after deployments.
  • Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and job notes.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work efficiently within assigned timeframes.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates
