QC Chemist

About the company:

• Chemical company currently undergoing substantial growth.
• Located in the western suburbs of Melbourne
• Casual ongoing contract
• This role involves 12-hour shifts and will be working 80-hours per fortnight.

About your duties but not limited to:

• Testing finished products by a variety of basic wet chemical techniques
• Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting instruments
• Data entry & database upkeep
• General Laboratory housekeeping

Skills & experience:

•    Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, or a related discipline

•    Ideally 1- 2 years laboratory experience, specifically in the chemical, petrochemical or similar industry. 

•    Are a quality-focused individual with excellent attention to detail, have good communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
