What's the Gig? You will be playing a leadership role within an experienced kitchen team who will appreciate your passion and knowledge.  Sharing is caring, and we want you to be part of our vision.

Not only will our customers get to indulge in your creations through taste, the experience for our customers will also be visual, so you will be at the front and bring the ingredients to life.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise members of the kitchen team who are responsible to you
• Passion Are you just as passionate about food as we are?
• We hate waste You must maintain consistent portion control to minimise waste at all timesBe able to ensure sufficient quantities of all menu items are prepped as per the menu specs
• Work alongside our Executive Chef in relation to catering operations, promotions and trends
• Ensuring deliveries are checked for accuracy and quality
• Refresh and replenish menu items during trade
• Learning is very important for growth You must be able to assist with the training of staff including any apprentices and trainees
• And of course - follow correct hygienic food handling practices

Skills and Experience:

• Must have worked in a similar high-volume environment as a sous chef
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Experience in functions/events preferable but not necessary
• Multi-tasking abilities reflecting efficient organisational skills
• Understanding and the ability to maintain the highest level of customer service in line with our Customer Service Strategy
• Uphold and commitment to our Charter of values & behaviours
• Punctual, reliable, dependable and self-motivated
• Availability across 7 days with flexible hours
