CFO – Catholic Congregation -Australian Province
- Full time circa $250,000 package

As the CFO you will work with the Provincial Superior and Provincial Council in managing the finances of the Australian Province.
About Us
This faith based organisation is the Australian Province of an international society that provides ministries across Australia including ministry work in education, seniors living, prisons and spirituality. It also supports a community of religious priests and brothers.
The Role
The primary purpose of the CFO is to be accountable to the Provincial Superior for the financial affairs of the Australian Province.
About You
You will be able to meet most the following selection criteria:
- Relevant post- secondary qualifications and/ or significant comparable experience in business administration and accounting (CA or CPA) - must have;
- Experience providing high level strategic advice, effective planning and sound management for the Province in matters pertaining to finance, investments, property, audit and risk, human resources and third party ICT providers;
- Experience in developing strategic investment plans including strategies to secure sustainable revenue streams;
- Experience managing organisational risk including developing risk management strategies and adequate insurance portfolios;
- Significant experience in financial management including managing multiple entity accounts, annual budgets, financial statements, audits and budgets;
- Experience overseeing compliance including without limitation BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG, franking credits, ATO, ASIC and ACNC lodgements;
- Experience overseeing and administering third party ICT services agreements;
- Experience overseeing policies and procedures including those relating to human resources and WHS;
- Proven capacity to influentially lead and promote a positive organisational culture that fosters and supports the mission of the organisation;
- Demonstrated commitment to service and a willingness to be accountable for performance;
- Ability to operate with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality;
- High level skills in contemporary computer applications including the Microsoft Office suite;
- A demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church.
