About the role

We are seeking a full time Trade Assistant who is motivated, reliable and hard work person to join our Maintenance team.

This person will have solid communication skills, a good attitude, and the ability to follow instructions whilst providing support with day to day tasks.

Key Requirements/Duties

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to keep our operations smooth.
  • Engage in fabrication and modifications if you're keen on creating and adjusting.
  • Utilise hand and power tools competently as you carry out various tasks.
  • Participate in training sessions to continuously elevate your technical prowess.
  • Keep meticulous maintenance records and report any concerns to your supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Embrace a team-oriented and flexible approach in all tasks.

About you

  • Cert 2 in Engineering
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience in a maintenance/ production environment or as a trade's assistant
  • Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
