The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you'll work across several client accounts, giving you hands-on experience with different brands, industries, and technologies. Your focus will be to create new business opportunities by initiating conversations, promoting events, and setting up meetings with potential clients.

This will involve a combination of social selling (LinkedIn), phone outreach, personalised email campaigns, and other digital prospecting techniques. You'll also use advanced lead generation tools to research and build targeted prospect lists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a client contact point, providing updates on outreach activity and coordinating meetings.
  • Drive new business by generating leads, securing event registrations, and arranging introductory calls.
  • Use research and insights to identify opportunities and spark meaningful conversations.
  • Attend and support client events.
  • Build tailored prospect lists using modern sales technology and databases, ensuring targets align with each client's ideal customer profile.
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and direct messaging to share content, invite prospects to events, and secure meetings.
  • Schedule sales meetings or demos between clients and qualified leads.
  • Support account management tasks, such as reporting and CRM updates.

Requirements

  • 1-4+ years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident and comfortable engaging people over the phone.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving targets.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Collaborative and team-minded.
