About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, confident, and highly organised Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
This role is much more than answering phones — it is about building rapport, creating meaningful patient relationships, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
You will be the key liaison between patients, practitioners, and the broader clinic team, ensuring every interaction reflects the Thrive values.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the
first point of contact
for patients, both in person and over the phone - Create an exceptional first impression by being
Friendly, Intelligent, Resourceful, Self-disciplined and Trustworthy (FIRST) - Answer and manage incoming calls and voice messages professionally and efficiently
- Book, amend, and manage patient appointments
- Accurately process payments and ethically promote clinic services and products
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and data entry
- Assist patients with questions, paperwork, and general care
- Maintain patient accounts, including personal and financial details
- Ensure the reception area and clinic present clean, professional, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with stock control and report needs or concerns to the Practice Manager
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Contribute positively as part of a collaborative clinic team
- Follow clinic systems, procedures, and professional standards
About You

- Flexibility and reliability, including availability for Saturday shifts

Skills & Experience
- Previous administration or reception experience (healthcare preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and EFTPOS systems
- Confidence using phone systems and office equipment
- Enthusiastic, patient-focused approach to customer service
- Trustworthiness, discretion, and self-discipline
