About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Radiographerto join our team at our Alpenglow Muswellbrook clinic on a Permanent Full-Time basis. This position is ideal for a CT Radiographer who can cannulate. Being part of a clinic in a rural area means you are comfortable working autonomously and you are confident in your ability to deliver imaging services, with another person supporting CT & X-ray twice a week. We have a Siemens CT & Shimadzu DR to support with delivering relevant procedures to our patients. 

Our Muswellbrook practice is open Monday to Friday, pm, with no on-call or evening work required. 

Muswellbrook is an attractive rural town, conveniently located 2 hours from Newcastle and 3 hours from the Sydney CBD in the heart of the Upper Hunter region. Close to the Hunter River to cool off on hot days, and with schools, walking tracks and sporting fields available - it's the perfect place to work, live and enjoy the countryside

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality.
• Interpret radiological requests and perform procedures in compliance with legislation and departmental policies.
• Maintain optimal image quality and ensure examinations deliver diagnostic information relevant to clinic requirements.
• Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Prior experience as a Radiographer in General X-Ray and CT. (While prior CT training is desirable, we are open to providing training for suitable applicants)
• Hold the appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography and will have a current AHPRA Registration and Radiation Use License.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
