E&I Commissioning Technicians

THE OPPORTUNITY 

We are seeking safety and quality conscious E&I Commissioning Technician to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided. 

In this role, you will: 

• Energise systems progressively in a safe, controlled manner.
• Verify instrumentation and control systems wiring against P&IDs and I/O lists
• Conduct functional testing ofelectrical equipment and instruments.
• Calibrate and prove safety interlocks, emergency stops, earth leakage devices, overloads and trip functions.
• Support dry and wet commissioning phases (no-load and load tests).
• Maintain accurate commissioning records, as-built documentation, green lines and test sheets for project handover.

ABOUT YOU 

• 2 years' experience in a commissioning role
• Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner
• Work well in group problem-solving situations
• Mining or Heavy Industrial experience is preferred but not essential for this role

The successful candidate will have: 

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
• Certificate in Instrumentation
• Current Electrical License
• High-risk work License (with WP class)
• Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver's License
• White / Blue Construction Card
